Tenney A. Norquist is a Modesto-based mechanical contracting company that provides residential, commercial and industrial heating, ventilating, air conditioning and sheet metal services. The company is in business to provide quality products and excellent mechanical and technical services. The company was founded in 1957 by Tenney A. and Margaret B. Norquist and is currently operated by their sons, Thomas and Richard. The company provides its services throughout Stanislaus, Tuolumne, San Joaquin Counties and the East Bay.

The company structure provides for effective project, personnel and financial management. The four divisions, Sheet Metal, Service, Residential Construction and Commercial Construction, are each operated as individual profit centers with division supervisors responsible for project management and customer service.

Tenney A Norquist’s involvement in industry-wide organizations provides current construction industry trends and political information.  We are an active member in ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) and involved in many community organizations such as SPIE (Stanislaus Partners In Education) and the Work Force Investment Board that nurture a relationship between education and industry. Our involvement allows us to plan for the future and guarantee our customers a trained workforce.
